Zina Affas, Ph.D., MRPharm.S., is a Director Business Development at Evolva Holding SA (a Swiss listed biotech) since March 2010.   Her eleven years in the healthcare industry to date span business development, investment, fundraising both for biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies and Venture Capital funds as well as healthcare recruiting and product litigation. 

Herb Askew is a scientist who has acquired financial and legal expertise, business knowledge and commercial acumen over more than 30 years. Originally a research chemist with Castrol, later Chief Research Chemist, he was responsible for a variety of new products. Work at both Burmah Oil and Alcan Chemicals involved provision of board level strategic advice, especially related to high tech chemical operations, and the acquisition of companies in the USA and elsewhere.

Tito Bacarese-Hamilton is currently Vice President, New Products and Platforms for LifeScan Scotland. In his role, Tito has responsibility for the full-scale development and commercial launch of all new product platforms. He provides the leadership and development direction globally across R&D and is the prime interface with manufacturing operations for the production scale-up of new, multi-product sensing platforms that are critical to LifeScan's strategic growth objectives and the needs of our customers. Tito oversees R&D’s development of design for manufacturability expertise and ensures that our development projects deliver on our customers’ critical to quality (CTQ) needs.

William T. Denman, MBChB, FRCA is currently the Chief Medical Officer for GE Healthcare.  He received his medical training in the United Kingdom, completing his anesthesia residency at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London. He then completed a fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and remained on staff. In 2000 he became Chief of Pediatric Anesthesia at the Floating Hospital for Children in Boston.

Worldwide Senior Director of High Performance Computing at Sun Microsystems Inc. He has held a number of technology management positions at Sun over the last decade. Mr. Hamilton has written numerous technical articles on Java technology and the Internet and is the author of the book, "Software Development, Building Reliable Systems". Prior to joining Sun, he spent 11 years developing software for high performance computing applications at TRW.

Stuart Hendry is CEO of Sphere Medical Holding PLC the Cambridge based medical microtech company. He has 20 years experience in the medical device industry, having held positions at Pfizer Hospital Products, Diametrics Inc, PowderJect plc and the Generics Group plc. He has been involved in the commercialisation of numerous medical devices, many in the area of clinical monitoring and diagnostics. He is a member of the CBI SME Council, on the board of ERBI Ltd, and member of the Healthcare KTN Steering Group.

Jeannine Sargent is a high-tech executive with more then 20 years of International experience.  She has participated in several technology markets: Solar Energy, Integrated Circuit: Design and Manufacturing, Embedded Systems Software, and Capital Equipment for Semiconductor, LED, LCD, MEMS, HDD and Nano-Biotech manufacturing.
