Dr William T Denman - GE Healthcare

William T. Denman, MBChB, FRCA is currently the Chief Medical Officer for GE Healthcare.  He received his medical training in the United Kingdom, completing his anesthesia residency at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London. He then completed a fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital and remained on staff. In 2000 he became Chief of Pediatric Anesthesia at the Floating Hospital for Children in Boston. In 2005 he returned to Massachusetts General Hospital where he is currently on staff. He has authored over 60 papers and conducted clinical trials in both the pharmaceutical and medical devices arena. He is co-leader of an annual mission to Vietnam where he provides anesthetic services to children undergoing surgery for craniofacial abnormalities. In July of 2007 he was promoted to the position of Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Covidien, having joined in 2003.
