Worldwide Senior Director of High Performance Computing at Sun Microsystems Inc. He has held a number of technology management positions at Sun over the last decade. Mr. Hamilton has written numerous technical articles on Java technology and the Internet and is the author of the book, "Software Development, Building Reliable Systems". Prior to joining Sun, he spent 11 years developing software for high performance computing applications at TRW.
Mr. Hamilton has a BS in Math Computer Science from UCLA, a MS in Electrical Engineering from USC, and is a graduate of the UCLA Andersen School of Management's Executive Program. Mr. Hamilton serves on the executive councils of a number of schools and public institutions, including the corporate executive council of WGBH, one of the largest public broadcasting stations in the US, the University of Florida executive advisory council, and the Loyala Marymount University computer science advisory council.
